Summary

Our Technology Labs is a research participant recruiting pipeline and service for coaching and enabling tech teams to align their research needs and questions to an approach and find the right users to interview or test with. I took the helm when a colleague departed the company and worked to evolve the offering to a more automated service that served a broader audience.

SERVICE INNOVATION RESEARCH

STRATEGY INITIATIVE

  Scope & role:

  • Initiative convener responsible for strategic direction, growth, and enlisting support to deliver the vision

  • I took over the program in its 3rd year and ran it for 2 years before passing the torch to an committed collaborator

  • In the 2 years that I led the initiative, I worked with two key peers - a researcher and a product manager - and a sponsor, a senior Research Director. I also recruited two additional data science contributors who helped us to realize some of our automation goals.

  Key achievements:

  • Built and launched a self-serve recruiting database that allowed for user segmentation across a multitude of factors and vastly improved researcher autonomy

  • Offered coaching and best practices to research practitioners of all disciplines to improve the quality of research insights & outcomes and ultimately the quality of product data

  • Cataloged findings and connected teams with existing data and insights to minimize redundant efforts
